Bret Michaels has released a new song called “Nothing to Lose”, which features Miley Cyrus on back-up vocals. If that isn’t bizarre enough, there’s also some “controversy” about the content of the song, which is a little risqué. Not for Bret, unless he’s singing with a 17-year-old, which is how old Miley is. They share the lines:
“Won’t you fall down on me / So close I can feel you breathe / Tonight in the darkness with nothing to lose / If the truth is all we can see / If I fall for you, could you fall for me?”
and the best line: “Yeah we both know better than this, still we can’t resist… slowly get undressed.” I’m sorry, what!? Is this inappropriate or not? Listen to the song here.
Lady Gaga did an interview for the new issue of “Cosmopolitan” and told a story about a less-than-supportive boyfriend she had back before she made it big. She says, “I had a boyfriend who told me I’d never succeed, never be nominated for a Grammy, never have a hit song and that he hoped I’d fail. I said to him, ‘Someday, when we’re not together, you won’t be able to order a cup of coffee at the (effing) deli without hearing or seeing me’.” The girl has been nominated for several Grammys and won two this year. I’d call her a success.
50 Cent is being sued over the sex tape he briefly posted on his website last March to attack Rick Ross. He claimed at the time that it was a video of Rick’s baby mama getting it on with someone else. The woman in the porno was referred to as “Brooke” but a woman named Lastonia Leviston is suing 50 for using her name and likeness by putting the video on his website without her permission. Apparently, she’s “Brooke.” Leviston claims the man in the video was her boyfriend at the time. She says she believes he sold the tape to Fifty. There’s no word on how much she’s suing for.
A longtime dream came true for Kirstie Alley on “Oprah” this week. She was surprised by a satellite video appearance from her crush, Jamie Foxx. In the May 2009 issue of “People” magazine, Alley said she was really feeling Foxx, mostly because he has no issue with women carrying extra pounds. “I haven’t been having sex,” Kirstie told People at the time – as she also opened up about falling off the weight-loss wagon and ballooning to 228 lbs. “I want a booty call with Jamie Foxx. For real,” she said. “I’ve always had a bit of a thing for him.” Oprah reminded her of the quotes and asked if she really would love “a booty call from Jamie.” Kirstie said, “You know, me and about 3 million other women in the United States.” Then Jamie appeared via satellite saying he would be her booty call!
