Better yet, where did November go!?!? Hard to believe that we’re racing into December starting tomorrow. I promised myself that this year I would get my Christmas shopping done early. Any purchases made thus far? Nope. Yet again, I am behind & more than likely I will wait until the last minute to get it all done. Sigh.
Anyway, Thanksgiving went by TOO fast! So far I think it was the best Thanksgiving as of yet! All of my family & friends were under one roof so it made it PERFECT. It was hectic, filled with lots of laughter, too much food, chaos & love. I think I gained 10lbs while I was at home. Whoops…that just means it is back to Hot Yoga for me this week- like hardcore!
My mom went ALL out! She put up place cards & by each card she had a chocolate turkey for each of us! Look at how gorgeous the table was!

Pink doesn’t know the sex of the baby she and husband Carey Hart are going to have soon. But if it’s a boy, she has a name picked out. She wants to call him Jameson. After the Irish Whiskey. That’s not the only reason, though. The name has a deeper significance than that. She says, “My dad’s name is James, and my brother’s name is Jason. Carey and I are both Irish, Carey’s middle name is Jason, and Jameson? Well, we like whiskey. That’s a no brainer.” But Carey might not be into it. Unlike most celebrities, he wants the kid to have a normal name. Pink says, “I’m all about meaning, and Carey feels like he had a girl’s hair cut and a girl’s name, and he doesn’t want kids to have a weird name. I have to get him on the boat for originality, so I’m working on him.”
Puberty is hitting 16-year-old Justin Bieber and since his voice is changing, he has a vocal coach helping him through it. A source says, “Justin is physically developing at a slower rate than most guys so his voice is only breaking now. He’s working with the best in the business, a specialist named Jan Smith, to make sure he gets as much vocal rest as humanly possible for a working pop star. It’s the same people who worked with Usher when his voice broke.” Justin’s voice isn’t the only thing that’s changing. He’s also toying with his hairstyle, gasp! His bangs are shorter than usual now, check it out!

There are two new chick flicks coming out that I keep seeing previews for that make me wanna gag. The first one is “Love and Other Drugs” with Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenal. Hmmmmm let me guess the plot to this one, boy meets girl. Boy has never loved before, they have a difficult relationship, end up breaking up, annnnd get back together. What else is new?
The second one stars Reese Witherspoon, Owen Wilson, and Paul Rudd it’s called “How Do You Know” Hmmm let me guess, girl is uncertain of her current realtionship, runs into an old friend, sparks fly annnnd they end up together. Vomit. Can we get some realistic/non cheesey plots sometime soon please? I’ll take Harry Potter any day over this crap.
Nicki Minaj got a firsthand taste of hazing at the American Music Awards in the Big Fat Rumor of the Day. Here’s a report from a celebrity that you all know who was at the Awards show. They said, “I felt so bad for Nicki Minaj. She was so excited – even dare I say starstruck – to be around Rihanna and Ke$ha and Katy Perry. But those girls are evil. They acted like they were cool with Nicki, but when she wasn’t there they kept laughing at her, saying ‘look how fake her butt is.’ At one point, they all took turns touching Nicki’s butt and then they all broke out laughing. You could see the hurt on Nicki’s face.” Remember Rihanna won Favorite Female R&B Artist and Nicki gave her the award, she touched Nicki’s booty on stage. The source went on to say, “I think she really thought they were friends. That’s Hollywood for ya!”
Mariah Carey may have slipped up and revealed a big secret about her pregnancy! While promoting her new CD “Merry Christmas II You,” the mom-to-be, who is expecting with her husband Nick Cannon, was talking about how she sings from her new album to her baby bump when we referred to the fetus as “they.” In an interview, Mariah joked, “I just hope that they don’t turn out hating Christmas!” Wait…what? “THEY??” I don’t know if there is one or two or even three babies in there, but I can’t wait to hear her clear this one up!
I learned two interesting things yesterday. First, that Prince William and Kate Middleton are getting married on April 29th. And second, that the British Monarchy has a Twitter page. And the only reason I know about the Twitter page is because that’s where the wedding date was announced. Isn’t the Twit pic pretty? That’s Westminster Abbey where they will say their vows.
Ahhhh!! Yay! Bristol Palin did not win the Mirror Ball Trophy on “Dancing with the Stars” last night. Her run for the title got her to third place, which is a lot further than anyone thought she’d get and a lot further than a lot of people wanted her to get. Bristol and her partner, Mark Ballas, were the first of the three couples who made it to the finals to get the boot. In the end, it was the frontrunners, Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough, who took home the trophy. Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer came in second.

A tiny, yet incredibly important detail about Fantasia’s attempted suicide attempt was swept under the rug just came out in the Big Fat Rumor of the Day. Fantasia got pregnant by her married boyfriend, Antwaun Cook, but she aborted the child. This happened right around the time of her failed suicide attempt back in August. Fantasia reportedly admitted this in court, during divorce proceedings for Antwaun and his estranged wife Paula. According to one source, there were no reporters in the courtroom, and witnesses were asked to leave when Fantasia took the stand. But they got their info from, “multiple sources, including a Cook family source.”
In an interview with Britain’s Guardian newspaper, Jay-Z came clean about an incident that happened when he was just 12 years old: He shot his older brother, Eric, for stealing his ring. At the time, Eric was a crack addict. Jay-Z, who grew up in Brooklyn’s Marcy projects, said it was easy to find a gun, “I went to someone’s house, and got it. Guns were everywhere. You didn’t have to go far to get one.” He shot Eric in the shoulder and it was not fatal. But Jay-Z freaked after doing it. “I thought my life was over. I thought I’d go to jail forever. It was terrible. I was a child. I was terrified.” But his brother didn’t press charges. Jay-Z said that when he visited his brother in the hospital, Eric apologized for his crack addiction. And it must have made an impression, because Jay-Z says he’s never done crack. Also, Eric is clean now and he and Jay-Z get along. That was the only time Jay-Z ever shot anyone. He said, “There were shoot-outs, but I never shot anyone else. Most people in shoot-outs don’t get shot.” He said he was shot at three times, but never hit.
Miley Cyrus turns 18 today. But she started celebrating her birthday Sunday night after the “American Music Awards” with a party at a nightclub called Trousdale. She was spotted at one point making out with Avan Jogia that guy she’s been kind of seeing from the Nickelodeon show “Victorious”. Celebrity guests included Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher and Rumer Willis, Kelly Osbourne, Kyle Massey from “Dancing with the Stars”, Mark Salling and Chord Overstreet from “Glee” and Ke$ha. But probably the most talked-about guest on the list was John Mayer. A source said, “John’s presence was the buzz of the party, and he wished Miley a happy birthday.” Think that will be the Hot Couple Alert tomorrow? It sounds like we can expect more reports like this, because Miley isn’t done celebrating. She says, “I have a birthday month. I do the whole month of November. Thanksgiving, cake, it’s all about me on Thanksgiving!”
Speaking of the Hot Couple Alert, we’ve just heard that Kim Kardashian is hooking up with Gabriel Aubry. He’s the father of Halle Berry’s daughter Nahla. Kim and Gabriel were sitting together and getting flirty at the Lakers game on Sunday night and a source says, “They’ve been dating a little bit.” Gabriel, who’s a model, is 34. Kim just turned 30.
My mom just told me that there are going to be 16 people TOTAL at our Thanksgiving feast on Thursday night! SIXTEEN! We’ve never had so many people at Thanksgiving before! Well…maybe we have- but it has been a while! All of Joe’s family & my family are coming together for this holiday. I am EXCITED!!! I am seriously excited about the FOOD. Mama I is an AMAZING cook. I am taking elastic waistband pants with me to Reston because I plan ON EATING!

A lot of people are annoyed that Bristol Palin is still on “Dancing with the Stars” despite the fact that she’s terrible. I’m one of them. But honestly, people we don’t need to take a shot gun to our tv’s or send death threats to show how ridiculous we think it is! Someone may have taken their anger at a silly reality show to a ridiculous level. The FBI is investigating a “suspicious” package that was sent to the show’s production office on Friday. They were called in after someone discovered an envelope that contained a white powder. It turned out to be talcum powder but the FBI is still running tests on the envelope to try to determine who sent it. Sources say the package was sent to Bristol, but there’s no official confirmation on that. An FBI spokeswoman said, “Just as in any case, we don’t confirm the identity of a victim based on privacy and security concerns.”
Fox has announced yet another change for “American Idol” this season. It’ll be moved from Tuesday and Wednesday nights to Wednesday and Thursday nights. Season 10 will premiere on Wednesday, January 19th. Fox probably moved “Idol” so that they could keep “Glee” in its Tuesday night timeslot. Fox will be moving “Fringe” to Friday nights.
Teri Hatcher and Felicity Huffman are planning on quitting “Desperate Housewives” after next season. No real reason was given, other than that they kinda want to “move on.” It’s probably related to contract negotiations, assuming it’s even rooted in fact in the first place. The show has been cleared to air through a ninth season, which would keep it on ABC through at least the spring of 2013. But apparently, Teri and Felicity don’t have deals yet for that season. But they have a year and a half to get all that sorted out and they will. Something tells me that money will remind Teri and Felicity that they have their entire lives to “move on” and that the smart choice is sticking with the “Desperate Housewives” cash cow while they can.
Justin Bieber went four-for-four at the “American Music Awards” last night, winning everything he was nominated for: Favorite Pop/Rock Album, Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist, Breakthrough Artist and the big one, Artist of the Year. At 16, he became the youngest artist to win that one.

Enough with all the award winners though, let’s talk performances. And really there’s only two I’ll bother you with. First things first, NKOTBSB was perfect. I have been waiting to see how New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys would do together on stage and it was worth it. For the other six of you girls that are in love, like me, here you go!!
And then there was Christina Aguilera. Oh boy, so she divorced her husband to hide the fact that she’s PREGNANT!! Look at the girl! That is crazy – she does not have a mid-section that looks like that. I’m sorry, I don’t mean to be rude and I’m the last person that would criticize a woman’s weight but honestly, what happened?
