So…it WAS beautiful, peaceful, amazing, yadda yadda when it was coming down on Saturday/Sunday…but now I’m over it! I’ve almost busted my tush several times on black ice and the parking lot at work (and my condo) are a nightmare! Ok…no more of me being a negative nancy! Here are some pictures from the snow!

Joe went surfing yesterday. Either he’s extremely bada#$ or totally nuts. I am not sure which. You decide! (It looks COOOOLLLDDD!)

Our Golden, Moose…LOVES the snow! He hops, digs, runs, plays in the snow. He’s in his element! He looks so handsome surrounded by all of it.

Nala on the other hand HATES the snow with a passion. She sinks right in it…she can barely hop through it and refuses to go potty in it! Stubborn little dog! She looks so pitiful!

Let’s hope it starts melting on Friday!

but Merry Christmas!!! This will be my last blog of the week so I wanted to make sure to wish you a Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays! My parents are arriving on Thursday & will be here through Sunday to help us celebrate.

I’ve got SO much to be thankful for this holiday season. For starters: My family. They’re simply THE best.

I’m so thankful for…My friends. They’re incredibly supportive, funny, and giving. I don’t know where I would be without them!

I can finally announce that my little brother got into the Norfolk Firefighters academy!!!!! YAY! YES! WAHOO! YIPEE!! Can you tell I’m excited!?!

 He starts January 10th and I couldn’t be more proud of him! He’s wanted this for SO long and has worked so hard for it! The academy is about 6 to 8 months long…but I know he’s got it in the bag! Way to go NICK!!!! More than likely he and Joe won’t work at the same station together, but they will be in the same city and that gives me peace of mind.  

Anyway, just wanted to share the FANTASTIC news with my Z104 family too! Happy Monday!

Months of speculation regarding a possible Nicki Minaj sex tape have culminated in a leaked photo which would seem to indicate that one will be hitting the internet soon in the Big Fat Rumor of the Day. One suggestive photo has already been dismissed by many fans, who believe the photo is from another, unrelated porno that does not feature Nicki, but so far, there has been no word from Nicki’s camp regarding the video.
 

 
Lil Kim has taken aim at her rival Nicki Minaj once again, warning her that fans will see her real side “pretty soon”. Lil Kim accused Nicki of copying her style, with Nicki reaching out to Kim and urging her to call a truce. However, she refused to back down and blasted Minaj on a track entitled “Black Friday” – a play on “Pink Friday” – alleging she slept with Lil Wayne to land a record deal.

Who would have guessed Captain Jack Sparrow is a Bieber fan! Saturday night Johnny Depp was busted at a Justin Bieber concert. The Biebs performed for a sell-out crowd at the American Airlines Arena near Miami Saturday night, and who was seen at the show? Both Depp and Justin’s good “friend” Selena Gomez were in the crowd. Johnny attempted to sneak out a back stage door after the show, but his secret is out. He officially has Bieber fever! Selena Gomez was escorted back to Justin’s bus post-show, and she gave him a nice, congratulatory hug as soon as he hopped on. As lots of people have been reporting, Justin and Selena have been hanging out together. They were seen Saturday morning as they took a leisurely stroll near their South Beach hotel. Selena insists the two are just friends, but now that he has Johnny Depp in his corner, who knows what may develop next!

Mariah Carey is having twins. Nick Cannon announced it yesterday on his radio show. But we’re not the first to know. That honor went to Barack and Michelle Obama. Cannon said he and Mariah ran into the Obamas backstage at the taping of TNT’s “Christmas in Washington” on Sunday night, and they actually asked if they were having twins. He said, “At this point she hadn’t told anybody anything because doctors advised us to keep it to ourselves until we get further along. And because of the excitement, because of the emotion, she was overwhelmed, she shared with the President and First Lady that we are having twins.”

Injured Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is engaged to former Miss Missouri Candice Crawford. She is Chace Crawford’s (“Gossip Girl”) younger sister, and is a sports reporter for KDAF-TV in Dallas. He proposed yesterday while celebrating her 24th birthday at a Dallas restaurant.

Jake Gyllenhaal spared no expense when getting a gift for his new girlfriend’s birthday. Jake reportedly shelled out $10K on a rare Fender Gretsch for Taylor Swift. A source said, “He spent the weekend in Nashville with her and she saw the guitar in a tiny store which a lot of A-list musicians use. Taylor drooled over it so Jake went back to the shop later and bought it for her. He was originally going to buy it just as a gift but it ended up being perfect for her birthday on Monday.” I’m sure she loved it, but I hope the gift doesn’t backfire on him. If he breaks her heart, she’ll probably use it to write him a love song. And by love song, I actually mean a throw-you-under-the-bus kind of love song that’s classic Taylor.

Georgia authorities have reportedly raided Waka Flocka Flame’s home, and his buddy Gucci Mane was handcuffed and taken in over possible links to prostitution, gangs and drugs! Waka was apparently not home, and if he doesn’t show up soon, sources claim that a warrant for his arrest will be issued!

“Glee” star Matthew Morrison has confirmed that he will be going on a solo tour next year to promote his debut album. In fact, Mr. Shu’s already getting the ball rolling. Morrison said, “I go right into rehearsals after Christmas. This is the only time I have off, really, so that’s why we’re kinda getting it in now. When Glee goes on our hiatus in April, I’m gonna start doing a big tour.” He recorded his album during nights and weekends while filming Glee this fall.

This could be awkward:  Michael C. Hall might be getting some sexy time with his “Dexter” co-star Julia Stiles while he’s divorcing his other “Dexter” co-star, Jennifer Carpenter in the Big Fat Rumor of the Day. That doesn’t necessarily mean this relationship broke up Michael and Jennifer’s marriage. When they announced their divorce, they said they’d been, “separated for some time.”

Michael Vick is legally barred from ever owning a dog again for obvious reasons.  But Vick thinks he’s ready for a new pet.  And he thinks it would actually help him. He says, “I would love to get another dog in the future.  I think it would be a big step for me in the rehabilitation process. Vick blames his upbringing for not knowing that dogfighting was wrong, “I hate to use our culture as an excuse. It is what it is. I love animals. I love dogs. I love birds. I love all types of animals. But this is just the way I was brought up. Nobody ever told me it was the wrong thing to do.” Vick says that he works with the Humane Society and goes out on speaking engagements, even though the courts don’t make him. For his fiance’s birthday, he bought her a $90,000 Porche Panamera (I said Panarama today on the air! ha!) and not a puppy like some of you expected. Not bad for a birthday gift, huh?
