The FBI needs help cracking a code. And they’re reaching out to the public to help.
On June 30th, 1999, a 41-year-old man named Ricky McCormick was found murdered in St. Louis. The only clues were two notes, written in some kind of code, that were stuffed into his pockets.
The FBI’s codebreakers haven’t been able to figure them out. So after 12 years, they’re looking for help. An FBI official says, quote, “Maybe someone with a fresh set of eyes [will] come up with a brilliant new idea.”
There’s no official reward if you do crack the code. And, of course, there’s a chance it’s not even a code and it’s just gibberish. But if you DO crack it and help them solve the murder, you’ll be nationally recognized as a hero.

Rihanna doesn’t just appear on the cover of the new “Rolling Stone” in painted-on shorts. She also gave them a pretty candid interview, in which she revealed her preferences in the bedroom. Not surprisingly, she’s a little kinky. She says, “I like to be spanked. Being tied up is fun. I like to keep it spontaneous. Sometimes whips and chains can be overly planned because you gotta stop, get the whip from the drawer downstairs. First off, she addressed easing the restraining order that’s been in place since he assaulted her in February of 2009. She said, “You can never please people. One minute I’m being too hard, and the next minute I’m a fool because I’m not being hard enough. It doesn’t mean we’re gonna make up, or even talk again. It just means I didn’t want to object to the judge.” Rihanna says she’s not jumping back into any kind of relationship with Chris, but at the same time, she’s not interested in punishing him anymore, either. She says, “We don’t have to talk again ever in my life. I just didn’t want to make it more difficult for him professionally. What he did to me was a personal thing. It had nothing to do with his career. Saying he has to be a hundred feet away from me, he can’t perform at awards shows, that definitely made it difficult for him. That was the only thing it was going to change, so I didn’t care.” Rihanna admits she kept her emotions in check after the Chris Brown incident, “I put my guard up so hard. I didn’t want people to see me cry. I didn’t want people to feel bad for me. It was a very vulnerable time in my life, and I refused to let that be the image. I wanted them to see me as, ‘I’m fine, I’m tough.’ I put that up until it felt real.”
The “Grey’s Anatomy” episode tonight is the “Song Beneath the Song” episode. We were left with an intense episode last week where Dr. Callie Torres (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) were in a car accident, leaving Arizona hurt but Callie in much worse shape as she went through the windshield and is 6 months pregnant. Callie’s injured state causes a hallucinatory experience that results in the characters breaking into song as her struggle for life occurs aside them. Now that Enrique Iglesias has dropped out of his co-headlining tour with Britney Spears this summer, we’re hearing that he may be replaced by none other than “Jersey Shore’s”DJ Pauly D, who shares the same manager as the pop star, Larry Rudolph. Sources claim that it’s unlikely that he’ll hitch along for the entirety of the tour, because he’ll be filming the fourth season of Jersey Shore in Italy next month, but we think this may actually work out better! We’re assuming that the ticket prices were so high because Brit Brit was sharing the stage with Enrique, so hopefully now that he’s out they’ll be more reasonable, And DJ Pauly D will draw a lot of his fanbase in without such high ticket prices.
Courteney Cox was photographed on the Caribbean island of St. Barts on Tuesday with “Cougar Town” co-star Josh Hopkins. He plays her boyfriend Grayson. They had her 6-year-old daughter Coco with David Arquette with them. But Courteney’s rep was quick to get out ahead of any rumors that might develop, saying, “Courteney is there with Josh, Coco and some other good friends. Strictly platonic.” Courteney has already been romantically linked to another co-star, Brian Van Holt, who plays her ex-husband Bobby.

Britney Spears announced that she’d be touring with Enrique Iglesias during a pre-taped appearance on “Good Morning America” yesterday, but that won’t be happening after all. Enrique’s rep released a statement last night saying, “Unfortunately, Enrique Iglesias and Britney Spears will not be touring together. Enrique has great respect for Britney and is a longtime fan of her work. He’s very sorry for the confusion this might have caused to anyone.” What that boils down to is that everyone is saying Enrique bailed because he wanted it to be a co-headlining tour, and that wasn’t going to be the case. I guess his ego got in the way. Some also say that Enrique wanted more money. Britney’s camp hasn’t commented, and neither has tour promoter Live Nation. She comes to DC on July 31st and tickets go on sale April 6th.
Disney star and “Dancing with the Stars” contestant Chelsea Kane is in the middle of a scandalous cocaine video in the Big Fat Rumor of the Day. She says, “That bums me out hard core because it’s not me, and the other girl that they’re suggesting in the video is my co-star Nicole Anderson. It’s just such a bummer because our faces are pixilated and it’s just so obvious that someone is trying to start some controversy.” A small clip of the said video was viewed by one source who has said it was “footage that makes the Miley Cyrus bong video look like a Disney movie.” But 22-year-old Chelsea said that although this is the first time she’s been at the center of a scandal, it’s not likely that she will take any legal action.
Mariah Carey may have gone into labor yesterday. Because last night, Nick Cannon posted on Twitter, “On a plane back to NY. Praying Dem Babies wait for DADDY to come back b4 they pop out!” This is just a few days after she went to the hospital with early labor pains. It’s just a matter of time now!

All three girls involved in the “Teen Mom”fight last week in Brunswick, NC have been officially charged. Janelle Evans, Britany Truett and Brittany Maggard have been charged with disorderly conduct by fighting in a public place. They face up to 60 days in jail.
The cast of “Jersey Shore” is about to hit up Italy to begin filming the show’s fourth season. And perhaps not surprisingly, Italians aren’t exactly thrilled to welcome them. One Italian newspaper columnist wrote, “They embody the worst stereotypes of Italians, multiplied by thousands and Americanized.” An Italian TV critic said that he’s “afraid” of what this season may do to the image of Italy abroad, which he described as, “already weakened.” Another publication described the cast as, “Slicked hair, exaggerated narcissism, boundless love for the family and outlandish eccentricity.” That’s not too bad, but it does get worse. A commenter on Italy’s MTV page said, “When I see this, I wonder whether Osama Bin Laden had a point.”
“Glee” star Lea Michele (Rachel Berry) was involved in a car accident early Friday morning, but she’s okay. Lea was driving home from work at about 2:00am, when another car smashed into hers. A source says, “A couple of drunk girls hit her, got out of the car, giggled that she was famous and said something like ‘Are you drunk, too?’ Then they drove off.” Lea got the license plate number and called the police. As far as we know, they haven’t located the other driver yet.
