Akon was opening up for Usher on his “OMG Tour” down in Florida Wednesday night when he stunned the audience by peeling off his jacket, then his white jeans, then his t-shirt. He just stood there smiling in front of the shocked crowd in his boxer briefs and socks before he headed backstage to get dressed.
Katy Perry is suing an Australian tabloid called “NW” for claiming that she cheated on husband Russell Brand with a music producer. The tabloid said Katy messed around with producer Benny Blanco while he mixed “California Gurls“. One of the problems with the story, however, is that Benny didn’t produce “California Gurls”. In her lawsuit, Katy says she has been, “gravely injured in her reputation and feelings and has suffered distress, embarrassment and humiliation” as a result of the article. There’s no word how much she’s asking for.
Chuck Lorre has reportedly come up with a plan to reboot “Two and a Half Men”. It involves beefing up Jon Cryer’s role and adding another actor to replace Charlie Sheen. Officially, there’s no word who they might choose, but three rumored possibilities are Woody Harrelson, Jeremy Piven and Bob Saget. Here’s the thing, though: There’s no guarantee the show will return for a 9th season. According to the one source, “Two and a Half Men” will, “almost certainly return.” But other sources say there’s only a 50-50 chance. Either way, we’ll have the answer by later this month, when CBS announces its schedule for next season.
This summer’s “American Idols Live!” tour itinerary been revealed. There will be 45 shows running from July through September. They will hit Richmond on August 20th. Usually, the Top 10 contestants participate in the tour. But this year, they made it the Top 11 after the judges used their “save” early on Casey Abrams. Aside from him, the touring Idols will be: Haley Reinhart, Jacob Lusk, James Durbin, Lauren Alaina, Naima Adedapo, Paul McDonald, Pia Toscano, Scotty McCreery, Stefano Langone and Thia Megia. For whatever reason, there was no Bottom Three last night. Ryan Seacrest just revealed the “safe” contestants one by one until only Casey was left. Goodbye Casey Abrams.

Congratulations to Chris Brown and his model girlfriend Karrauche Tran. In the Big Fat Rumor of the Day, one of Kae’s girlfriends has announced that Chris proposed to Karrauche over the weekend and she said yes! The source said, “Chris asked her to marry her but it was very spur of the moment. It was over the phone and he doesn’t even have a ring for her yet. But she said yes.” They say that the two are trying to keep everything on the hush-hush for now until after Chris returns from touring.
Kate Hudson and her baby-daddy, Matt Bellamy of Muse, got engaged last week. During an interview on the “Today” show yesterday, Matt Lauer noticed a rock on Kate’s finger. (Skip to 2:37) And she told him, “I’m engaged! It just happened a week ago. I’m so glad you noticed. I haven’t really announced it. I was waiting for someone to notice.” She didn’t say how Matt proposed, but she said, “It was very sweet. It was very romantic.” Matt and Kate have been dating for about a year, and are expecting a child in the next few months. Matt will be Kate’s second husband. She was married to Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson from 2000 to 2007. They have a 7-year-old son named Ryder.
Angelina Pivarnic from the first two seasons of “Jersey Shore” is pregnant or at least that’s what she’s telling anyone who will listen. One site claims she still hasn’t received “confirmation from a doctor” yet. Apparently, Angelina doesn’t think it’s necessary to actually get confirmation before she tells everyone. But that’s not all. She may also be single. Angelina and her boyfriend David Kovaks got engaged back in February, but now there’s a rumor that David is breaking it off. Good timing, Dave. Angelina has yet to comment on that.
Mark Wahlberg and Justin Bieber are doing a movie together. Mark says, “We’re putting it together. Yeah, we’re doing it at Paramount. We pitched them the idea, and we talked to him about doing it and he loved the idea. “He sent me a video of himself and yeah, I think he’s really talented.” That’s all we know about it at this time.

In her interview with Jay Leno, Lindsay Lohan said that it was, “shocking” to be sentenced to jail and community service and that she feels, “kind of numb.” But she really didn’t try to dodge the blame. She said, “I think that when, you know, being young and being in the position I was in, you don’t really take the time to appreciate what you have and it’s all kind of a whirlwind, and people make decisions for you. But I’m not a kid anymore. I’m 24. I’ve made a lot of mistakes. I recognize that, but I’m in the clear now and I feel that as long as I stay focused, then I will achieve what I want to achieve.” By the way, the crowd gave Lindsay a standing ovation when she walked onstage. Sources say Leno got Lindsay’s first interview because, “He has been nothing but good to her and her family over the years, and has always been protective of her.”
New Kids on the Block stud Donnie Wahlberg came to the aid of a very sick fan named Bobbette Miller, who was in desperate need of a kidney. Back in December, one of Bobbette’s friends Tweeted about her condition, and Donnie saw it. He re-Tweeted the friend’s message, and appealed to his 183,000-plus followers asking them for help. This prompted a flurry of people being tested and six people were deemed matches for Bobbette. One of them, whose identity was not released, will be donating their kidney to her in June. Donnie says, “It’s a testament to the value of Twitter when used for more than telling people what one is eating for dinner or using it to sell products.”
SPOILER ALERT: Matthew Morrison aka Mr. Shue spilled some details on an upcoming episode of “Glee” in which a character is going to be biting the big one. He explains, “Somebody’s dying. Obviously I’m not going to tell you who it is, but it’s no-one that you would probably expect. The episode right before the finale (which is May 24th) is called ‘Funeral’. We were actually at a funeral home yesterday, shooting all day. It was a very taxing day.” It’s gotta be a pretty significant character if the entire episode after it is focused on the funeral! Now in the Big Fat Rumor of the Day, some are saying it could be Puck because he was the only one they didn’t see in pictures from the set that day. Others speculate it could be Terri (Will’s ex-wife) or Emma’s ex-husband, Carl (played by John Stamos) or even the big bad bully, Dave Karofsky.
Chris Jericho was eliminated from “Dancing With The Stars” just one night after landing in last place. He and his dance partner, Cheryl Burke, collected 22 points out of 30 on Monday for a tango that one judge described as “cold, uneventful and a bit lumpy.” He was joined in the bottom two with Ralph Machio.

Game has posted a video of his four-year-old son King Justice performing Justin Bieber’s songs “Never Say Never” and “Baby”. And he belts ‘em out. Former “Laguna Beach” star Kristen Cavallari and Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler got engaged over the weekend during a trip to Mexico. They’ve been dating since last fall. Congratulations!!
Nicolas Cage may be in trouble for more than just causing a scene in New Orleans a few weeks ago. Now he might have Child Protective Services on his case. It turns out that sometime before Cage was arrested for public drunkenness and battery against his wife Alice, Cage also dropped his 5-year-old son Kal-El, causing the boy to scrape his knee. According to the newly-released police report on Cage’s arrest, Cage and Alice had gone to pick the kid up from a friend’s house, and Cage, “fell while holding their son. “The fall caused the 5-year-old to suffer a minor abrasion to his left knee.” A witness who saw it happen said that Cage actually, “pulled the male child to the ground by his hand.” A child abuse detective was called to check things out and he didn’t file any charges. But Child Services is reportedly looking into the case.
Simon Cowell has officially picked Paula Abdul to be a judge when “X-Factor” premiers in the United States in September. She has to sign the contract. L.A. Reid and Cheryl Cole will also be on the judging panel. Cheryl is currently finalizing her contract.
