My parents live in Northern VA and they got SLAMMED with snow on Saturday! My poor mom and dad sent me pics of the mess! I think they’re snowed in for a looonnng time. Check it out:

Did you watch? I have to admit…I only watched for 2 hours and after that- I was over it! Best performance (in my opinion) goes to: PINK! She’s amazing live! If you missed it…see it for yourself:

Worst performance…I’m sorry…let the hating begin: TAYLOR SWIFT! Girl can not sing live! PERIOD. She was flat and off key! I had high expectations for this girl who has been picking up awards all year long. Honestly, I think she’s overrated and I’m over hearing about her. I’m sure she’s a nice girl…writes cute songs…yadda yadda…but there are other Artists more deserving! Ok, enough. Here’s her performace:

A few weeks ago Tricia and I went to NYC to see Lady Gaga (unsuccessfully) but here are some pics from the trip! The lady in red is my best friend Melody! We’ve been friends since the 7th Grade…no lie! She lives in NYC so she let us crash at her place for the weekend! We went to dinner at a place called Room Service. Doesn’t that place look so peaceful!? Can we just beam ourselves there right this second? I want a beach, sand, water and warmth! Sounds so nice right now…Anyway…I woke up to THIS little face in my face this morning:

How cute is Nala!? And she’s always SO excited when I wake up in the morning. She seems to sigh deeply whenever I hit the snooze button. Such a sweet pup! Speaking of sleep and all that fun stuff…I’ve quit caffiene! I’m on Day 4. Not only have I quit coffee, diet coke, etc. but I’ve also quit alcohol. It’s a 10 day detox. I know, I’m nuts…but I just wanted to get the stuff out of my system! I was drinking 4 cups of coffee a day plus a diet coke! Not healthy.

 I’ve had awesome headaches and mood swings! My husband has been really excited about the mood swing part of it…love you Joe!

Anyway…we’ve got a fun weekend ahead. Birthday dinners/BBQs…hanging out with friends & family. Hope you have a good weekend too! See you next week!

I have a cold that I just CAN’T get rid of. Boo. This thing has been hanging on to me for over a week now! Any ideas on how I can dump this nasty cold? Let me know!

Speaking of being healthy…one of my Resolutions this year was to eat healthy, work out at least 4 times a week & so far I’ve kept up with it! In case you didn’t know- I LOVE Hot Yoga! Especially during this really cold weather! It’s one way to warm up! So…I was at Hot Yoga yesterday…

and I bent into my forward fold…only to notice…THIS:

(Ok, not exactly THAT because I don’t wear jeans to Yoga) but GASP a HOLE in my Yoga PANTS on my butt!!! The girl behind me had a lovely view of my tush.

Dear girl in class that I don’t know, I’m very sorry.

It wasn’t a gigantic hole…but it was noticable. I thought about leaving the class but I decided to not worry about it. At that point, eveyone had already seen my lovely holey yoga pants. Might as well stick it out and get my work out in! I’m a mess. My goal is to be able to do this position at some point in time (without falling over):

Moving on from my holey yoga experience….Tricia & I are making the trek to Wallingford, CT to see Lady Gaga in CONCERT this weekend!!! We planned this trip a LOOOONGGG time ago, so I am excited that it is FINALLY here! I will let you know how the show is. More importantly, I am excited to be spending time with Tricia Delicia!!
