I read on Gizmodo this morning that quote, “We’ve seen a patent that Nike filed for auto-lacing shoes“. They are talking about the Shoes that Marty McFly wore in Back to the Future II.

It’s was a GREAT promotion. Tricia’s Pint Party got even bigger this time around. We broadcast and setup at multiple malls this past weekend. When it comes to the summer months the blood banks reach a critical LOW. Tricia had a goal of 150 pints and we all thought that was going to be tough. The 757 came out strong and we collected 167 units of BLOOD. That’s amazing. Here are some pics of me at the Chesapeake square mall giving blood this past Sunday.

I bet that headline made you read it twice! This church actually exists…it’s a a light-hearted, US-based faith whose members call themselves “Pastafarians”. Here is their website www.venganza.org. I bring this organization up because of something I read this morning about one of its members, Niko Alm. He lives in Austria and wanted to update his drivers license photo. Keep in mind he is a, “Pastafarian” and it is a legal religion AND religious headgear IS allowed in official pictures. Your face must be visible is the only rule. He decided to wear a “pasta strainer” on his head. He fought this for 3 years and the Austrian government even made him get a psych evaluation. HE WON!!!
