In case you missed this awesomeness in E on the Z yesterday, my name will be a part of history. Okay, it’s not that big, but I pre-ordered my copy of “NKOTBSB” – the greatest hits cd that New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys are doing together and now Tricia Delicia will be somewhere within the cd’s jacket. Let me explain, if you pre-order by March 24th, Sony will put your name inside the album’s packaging! Yippppeeeee!! Just go to NKOTBSB.com to pre-order and to vote for the five songs from each group that will make it in the greatest hits list. They boys will record some new songs, too. The cd comes out May 24th, so I’ll get to listen to it all the way up to DC with all my girls on our way to their concert!!

And ps….why didn’t I know that there was a New Kids on the Block cereal??!! I just randomly found this and now I’m mad that I never had this!! It wasn’t like my mom forced me to only eat Cheerios or Raisin Bran. I had all the sugary yummy cereals. Why??? Too funny though…

My baby Noel turns 4 years old today. I won’t fill this blog with sappy memories that make me cry. Instead, I shall reminisce over some of my favorite snapshots from her four short years. Happy birthday to my sweet angel bug!!

MY PARTY:

I’m having a Pint Party!! I’ve teamed up with the awesome people at the American Red Cross to host a blood drive next week!! The dates and times are below. I’d really love to see us bring in 104 pints of blood but I need YOUR help to do it! Bring a friend, bring a co-worker, bring your mom or someone else in your family, but help me to help the Red Cross fill their shelves with blood.

MY STORY:

For years, I was scared to death to donate blood. I’m being honest. I admired the heck out of the people that did it, but I just couldn’t. I was that typical too-afraid-of-needles person.

After we moved to Chesapeake, there was a blood drive at my brand new church the first week we visited. Now try to ignore the corny factor, but I couldn’t help but think that was the Lord telling me to donate blood!! So I called a friend the day of since Sexy Jim was out of town and he held my hand while I cried BEFORE the needle went in. Then we both laughed because it wasn’t bad. I had wasted years of my life being afraid and now in a matter of ten minutes, I had become a hero.

MY REQUEST:

I’m asking you to open your mind and open your heart (and I suppose, open your vein). I’m not asking for money or clothes or food or even your kidney. Your blood donation can save three lives!!

Don’t assume you CAN’T give blood because you just got a tattoo or you were denied last time. Please, just come out to one of our blood drives next week and find out if you are eligible. Of the people eligible, only FIVE PERCENT actually donate blood. Come on!! Let’s increase that number!

Three of the stars of “True Blood” got naked for the cover of “Rolling Stone”. Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, and Alexander Skarsgard got naked and bloody for the cover of the new issue. Inside the magazine, Moyer gives his take on what makes vampires so attractive, “If we go from base level, vampires create a hole in the neck where there wasn’t one before.”

My son Brody makes me laugh all the time! Check him out…

Black Eyed Peas last night…AMAZING! I wish I could go see the show again! The stage, costumes, singing…all of it- AMAZING! I think Joe fell in love with Fergie. I have to admit, she is pretty hot. Her outfits were incredible! Especially the shoes! Anyway…more to come this week!

A few weeks ago Tricia and I went to NYC to see Lady Gaga (unsuccessfully) but here are some pics from the trip! The lady in red is my best friend Melody! We’ve been friends since the 7th Grade…no lie! She lives in NYC so she let us crash at her place for the weekend! We went to dinner at a place called Room Service.
